To date, over $800,000 has been awarded to member companies and their families. Our annual scholarship program is open to all members of FRANE, their current employees and families with a high school senior or undergraduate student in an accredited program. Our Ryan Marrocco Memorial Scholarships are open to students pursuing a variety of degree programs. Our Member Memorial Scholarships are open to students pursuing a career in the Food Industry.

General Eligibility requirements:
Applicant or an immediate family member (mother, father, grandparent, sister, brother, spouse or guardian) must be an employee of a company which is a member in good standing of the Frozen & Refrigerated Association of the Northeast, have direct responsibility for the Northeast Market and be employed by the member company from the date of the student’s application through June 30, 2024.
Applicant’s high school or college transcript must show academic consistency. Minimum grade requirements are B- or 2.8 Grade Point Average (GPA). (Please note, SAT’s are no longer required)
Applicant must be a high school senior or college undergraduate applying to or enrolled in an accredited two or four year program. Graduate students are not eligible.
Applicants must complete the application, include extracurricular activities resume, include transcripts and submit an essay for consideration of this scholarship.
